About the event

The British Machine Vision Conference (BMVC) is one of the prestigious and longest running international conferences on computer vision and related areas. BMVC regularly attracts about 200 vision researchers and engineers from around the world (>75% contributing authors outside UK in recent years). It provides an excellent platform for global networking, advertisement and recruitment in vision engineering.

The 26th BMVC will be held at Swansea University. The University is set in a rolling parkland overlooking the majestic sweep of Swansea Bay, the start of the famously dramatic Gower coastline comprised of twenty-one bays and coves.

BMVC2015 is a single track meeting (with oral acceptance rate <10% in the last 5 years) and has an associated student workshop. There will be a reception and banquet.

Layout of the venue

taliesinThe main venue during the conference is located in the Taliesin Theatre and Arts Hall on the Singleton Campus of Swansea University. The Arts Hall has 200 square meters exhibition space.

Of particular interest is that the exhibition space is right where the coffee breaks and poster sessions are. The registration desk is at the foyer of the Theatre. The layout guarantees optimal exposure to and opportunity for interaction with the conference participants. Please contact us for further information.
